There is going to be ALOT of language and talk going on this week.
Art:
-Paint an Orange Oo
-Paint the Ocean and add on stickers of Ocean life
-Draw pictures while Outside
Science:
-Make Oobleck
-Onion Experiment (make out why mommy crys while cutting and what we can do to stop it)
-Oranges- we have a tangerine tree so my kids think oranges are tangerines even though I tell them otherwise, so we are going to cut open both and find out the difference.
Math:
-Opposites (especially Oo opposites- over/under, on/off, old/new, open/close, out/in)
-Put things in Order (sequencing)
Cooking:
-Oatmeal cookies
-Orange Juice (because it's so fun!)
Movement/Outside:
-Spend alot of time Outside exploring
-Do an Obstacle course
-Mini Olympics
Social Studies: (we'll be discussing and reading about these more than anything.)
-Oo states- Oregon, Oklahoma, Ohio, we'll point them out on the map and read about them.
-Olympics
Books: (We get books for the letter of the week every week at the library, they are normally science and nonfiction books to help explain words that aren't concrete items in front of them. We always throw in a picture book or two too!)
