We were planning to have a picnic in our back yard today, but about 30 minutes before lunch it started raining. Since I had already told the kiddos about the picnic and since they LOVE picnics, we decided to have one in the living room. I asked Lyssy to get a blancket for the picnic, of course she got a very small one, but she did it all be herself so I just let them all squeeze on it. About half way through their lunch they asked if they could watch a show since they were right in front of the tv, since they NEVER do that, I said ok. They watched Olivia for Oo. It was a special lunch for them!
Lyssy has been ALL about peanut butter sandwiches lately. To switch it up a bit I gave them things to dip in the peanut butter. Baby carrots, pretzel sticks, milk, apples, celery, and peantu butter.

Inside picnics rock!! and what a great tin- all your foods can be dipped in the PB!!
Seems like a lot of people's picnics were rained out this week. I'm glad we were actually able to spend ours outside considering it's usually us stuck indoors (we are in Seattle)
