Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is one of my all time favorite books from when I was a child! Crazy as it is, I did not have this book for my own kids until this weekend. Much to my delight, they love it too and have not put it down all weekend!
Aidman and I were discussing what we were going to put in our muffin tin. I was thinking that we would just pick foods from the book and eat them. Aidman had a different idea. He wanted to make a gingerbread house to be the school and put a pancake on top of it so that the school could be closed like in the book. Because we wanted this to be a muffin tin meal we decided that the muffin tin could just be the school.

I turned the muffin tin upside down and put a pancake, egg, cantaloupe, and syrup on top.

The kids thought it was crazy eating like this! And had a really good time with it.

I also made up a pot of "spagetti and meatballs" for them to play with.

They have had a GREAT time playing with this activity!
