Happy Fall

Even though it is 90 something degrees outside, we still wanted to celebrate the first day of Fall. I found this awesome tree and wanted to recreate it. We seem to have problems blowing paint with straws so we had to do it alittle differently.

I gave the kiddos red, yellos, green, orange, and brown paint and told them to paint the entire paper, there could be NO white left. Then I gave them some black paint and asked them to make the sticks on a tree.

I love painting with them, so I made this one.

Aidman just HAD to have leaves on his tree, so he added some after painting on the sticks.

I love Lyssy's.

AB didn't want to make it into a tree.

Lyssy had so much fun that she made another one.

I just LOVE every one of these beautiful fall trees and am thinking about framing them.

How pretty! I love this time of year! We've been having lots of fun with Fall crafts too. It was 90 degrees there?? Yikes!

I have trouble with that paint blowing too. It never seems to move well. I usually have a big blob with little juts out of the edges. You guys created some awesome trees.

They came out great! Definitely frame them!

I agree with Christy. I would frame them. You could make new paintings each season and have rotating art.
All our paintings come out brown b/c my 3 1/2 yr old always mixes the colors. But hey, it would make sense for fall leaves.
