First we painted with Kool-Aid. Just mix 2 tablespoons of water with a pack of Kool-Aid. Then get started painting! It smells SO good!
WARNING!!! Kool-Aid STAINS bad!! Put newspaper or a vinyl table cloth on your table, put your kiddos in smocks or undress them, and be prepared to have stained hands for a day or two.
Tip: Write the letter in permanent marker and NOT washable marker. The washable will run.
Tip: Because it stains so much, we like to stain our wood projects with kool-aid. Just mix it with alittle water and paint it onto the wood and it will make a nice stained look with whatever color you choose.

I love this, I want to link to it when we do K at ABC and 123, okay?
Thanks!
You don't have to give a detailed objective, something like Alphabet Letter K would be fine! It's really more to help us sort through activities and plan.
Activities posted on your blog don't have to be in lesson plan format, we just find that listing the skill right away along with the materials list helps people know if the activity is what they need and if they have the supplies on hand.
After the initial first two weeks I'm going to be doing a weekly post on alphabet activities and I'd love for you to send me yours then too!

I love the Kool-Aid Play dough! It smells wonderful:0)
Anything with Kool Aid is awesome!
We make that kool-aid play dough a LOT! Even our school makes it all the time now. It is our favorite and the colors are always so bright. We don't drink it much but I love the idea of staining wood projects with it. Thanks for the tip.
Fun and good smelling projects. Great Kool Aid projects.
Thanks for linking and have a good weekend.
